Great story, almost believable

There were some hard to believe gymnastics involved in making the lead character a loner. There are some reasons why some people are loners but none of these made any sense.

The author clearly wanted his character to be alone to increase the drama but could have put a little more effort into making her loner status believable.

No one I know who went through any sort of military training did so without forming strong ties to those they trained with.

Unlike other shifter stories

I absolutely loved this! It was unlike other shifter stories I have read when it comes to A/B dynamics and mate bonds. The story almost seemed like it could fit in well with the Buffyverse … and the it’s hard to not love Malice AND Rory. The author does a wonderful job bringing the reader into the thought process of the MCs and, as always, Lori Prince does a fantastic voice job. LP actually had my heart breaking with the way she played her voice in a few parts.

I’ve read this three times. It never gets old.

Incredibly in depth

This was amazing in how detailed this story was for the world being built. I can’t wait to listen to the next one!!!

seriously. sure there were a few easily telegraphed plot points and one of the characters was a bit annoying but the story is great. I loved the characters, even the annoying one. Malice was a lot of fun even though she is supposed to be a harsh stock in the mud, I just loved her. Lori knocks another narration way out of the park with her portrayals and voices.

l love Malice and rory and im just saying... for my sister I would have done the same thang.... sorry not sorry. love the segg scene... Def recommend

finally lesbian werewolves

The perfect read to satisfy your urban fantasy craving. lesbian werewolf x Hunter romance as well as enemies to lovers. The world building is pretty solid and I really enjoyed the two main characters. The plot for this one left me with some questions maybe these will be addressed in sequels. I did feel like a lot of the plot was pushed forward by characters just not talking to each other or leaving out vital information. but that's pretty par for the course not really complaining. overall I enjoyed this. exactly what I've been looking for in an urban fantasy series, and difficult to put down once I started it

Call me surprised

Not the usual genre I read, but this TURNED me into a new fan. I really enjoyed it. Thanks. BTW people...read or listen to this.

Loved the narrative. Voice was a great match for the story being told. Loved every thing about the book.

Running to the next book

This book comes out guns blazing with a bit of spice from the first chapters...
And im running to the next book, not because this one feels unfinished or in a cliffhanger, I just want more of it 🗿
