I learned a lot from this Book.

I absolutely love Irish history, in fact my family might say I am obsessed with it.
I had heard of many of the women in this book, but not all of them.
This really was interesting and diverse group of women, all having one thing in common, they are Irish.
I really enjoyed the book and the narration.
Just under 4 1/2 hours, it is a very easy listen in one day.
Each of the stories is rather short, under 15 minutes and the four narrators also make this book an enjoyable listen.

Brilliant collection of essays about Irish women

An excellent collection of essays giving a feminist perspective on Irish history! I learned so much about great Irish women - well-known and those who've been overlooked in the history books - without it feeling like an educational book. Definitely recommended.
