Sweet Story

This was just a great short, sweet, low angst story. Ryan and Luca meet after he rescues Luca at a club, and then we get to see them fall for each other. I loved how it was just a simple story. No angst or drama, we see them spend a day falling for each other. This was perfect.

Sweet insta-love story.

Sweet insta-love story. A retelling of sorts of Sleeping Beauty. Lovely.
Apart from the epilogue the whole story takes place in one day, when Luca wakes up in Ryan's apartment with no recollection of the night before.
A sweet short story for the romantics at heart!

So Sweet!

I loved this story so much! I'm fond of both the MCs and Briar the adorable dog. I just wished that it was longer.

The narrator is new to me. I enjoyed listening to his voice so much that I finished this in one sitting.

I recommend this audiobook, and will check out other works by both the author and the narrator.

Short and Sweet

Rise and Shine is a short sweet story with a fairytale feel. Luca wakes up in a strange bed not knowing where he is or how he got there only to find out, Ryan, a bouncer at a club, not only rescued him from and ex who roofied his drink but also took care of Luca in his home. Ryan is so sweet and considerate of Luca. I love their connection and watching them fall in love. A very enjoyable story, one to enjoy again and again. Definitely recommend.
Kieran Flitton does a fabulous job. He's becoming a fast favorite. I love how he brings these characters to life.

Wonderful

This is a quick and cute story that is a twist on Sleeping Beauty. Ryan takes Luca home to save him from his terrible ex. Their attraction is instant but I like that they take their time. It was very sweet watching them get to know one another and build their relationship. The narrator was spectacular with the story and with the character voices. I am truly looking forward to more stories. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

sweet, low angst. as with most short stories, I wish it could have been longer to get to know the characters better but still a great story.

So it’s finally time for a sweet MM retelling if sleeping beauty and I have to say this as so sweet and lovely.

Luca is indeed very lucky. What could have been an extremely hellish night turned out to be an opportunity to meet and fall in love with his Prince Charming who saved him from a night that could have gone wrong. However waking up in a strange place with no memory whatsoever of what happened last night made Luca very confused and scared at first. And Ryan is the Prince Charming who saved the other prince in distress and is secretly having a crisis of having feelings for the man he rescued. How will their fairytale end?

Ah, so so sweet and romantic. It’s really heartwarming to see how they fumble through their first day together which will ultimately end up us their happily ever after. I wish this has been longer. And I think the narrator is the absolute fit for this story. I loved this one so much.

Sweet!

This is a short but sweet listen. I love how a good deed turned into much more for these two. I know that live can happen this quick and it is nice to see it reflected here! Love Kieran's narration 😍

This is a short listen but I absolutely love this story! I have been loving Helen Juliet retelling of classic fairytale. So I love this Sleeping Beauty retelling so much. I love Luca and Ryan's short story. Kieran Flitton is absolutely amazing. I just love listening to his voice. Even with a short story.
