Publisher's Summary

The #1 personal finance book of all time... translated into dozens of languages and sold around the world.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert's story of growing up with two dads - his real father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad - and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you.

20 Years... 20/20 Hindsight
In the 20th anniversary edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we’ve seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy. Sidebars throughout the book will take listeners “fast forward” - from 1997 to today - as Robert assesses how the principles taught by his rich dad have stood the test of time.

In many ways, the messages of Rich Dad Poor Dad, messages that were criticized and challenged two decades ago, are more meaningful, relevant and important today than they were 20 years ago.

As always, listeners can expect that Robert will be candid, insightful... and continue to rock more than a few boats in his retrospective.

Will there be a few surprises? Count on it.

Rich Dad Poor Dad...

if you've read the original, this is too similar

I wouldn't recommend getting this if you've read the original since it seems like the only changes are a bit in the beginning and breaks in between chapters to summarize and review. If you have trouble reflecting on what you've read, then the review sections may be of more use to you. It's still an amazing book and this is the definitive version if you're just getting it for the first time.

Great Book - No Access to PDF of tables & graphs

The book is great and so is the performance of the narrator. But without access to the PDF of the information they mention in some of the chapters, I feel as though I'm missing out on something.

Great of only included the graphs

Throughout the book there is often references to cash flow diagrams that are not included in the audio version which made me have to look it up elsewhere other than that the book was amazing

Fantastic into to finances for a beginner...

This was an awesome listen on my work trip from Kansas to Tennessee, I felt engaged and energized by the narrators energetically calm speech the entire drive, and never once thought "man this is kind of boring". I've, very recently, begun my own financial freedom journey and would strongly recommend this as one of your pillars for foundation; It's easy to digest, easier to listen to, and gives plenty of real life applications for each finance rule and tips so you can get out there and start increasing your financial intelligence right away!

The only real issue I had with this audiobook is that, in the book itself, you have access to PDFs and charts, while that isn't really possible with an audiobook, which might detract from its value.

Other than that, amazing!

Dope book to begin your journey of financial literacy

I just downloaded the book and only in the first few chapters but I’m already learning things that I haven’t heard before! I love it so far and recommend to anyone looking to get out of the “rat race”. Also take a look at the pdf files included with the book. In order to do so go to the desktop version of your audible account and go to library, there is where you’ll be able to download the PDFs

Just YouTube him!

All his advice is free on YouTube. I watched a few of his videos and gave the book a try and quickly realised that it's same stuff repeated repeated over and over again. Apart from "buy assets, not liabilities" the book is a plug for his other books and board games.
