Wow! This was a spicy little slug in the face. 🥵🥵 and I wasn't sad about it! I'll happily take the punch! Sebastian York has the perfect voice for an age-gap romance! Janine was fantastic! Enjoyed this short novella A LOT!

So, so, soooooooo good...

Hot. I am not sure how to review this without spoiling some surprises in the book. Her boyfriend cheats on her and you won't believe with who! To get revenge she gets with her ex's dad! And boy does Daddy Ford know how to treat her right! She is finally doing things for herself living her life and having the time of her life! This series is going to be fun! Love it. This audio was so hot and delicious with Sebatian York and Janine Granda giving an amazing hot AF performance!

ALSO!! I love all the easter eggs of other books of Brittanee's that are throughout the book. Character's lives crossing and intertwining!

• Thoughts:
I loved this!! Loved it. It was T-Swift inspired. But I very much enjoyed the story from start to finish! Ford is so dang hot!!! Soooo hot!! The emotional healing he shows her and encourages her to speak up and take what she wants. That alone is so swoony! He truly sees Lake and pays attention to her. Lake is truly able to be herself with him. Gah, you guys, I really liked this one. I kinda wish it was a little longer. I had this finished in less than a day. Ha.

Narrators:
Sebastian York. Gahhhhhh, he is the perfect Ford. Oh, his deep, growly voice! I can listen to that man read an engine manual, and I would swoon.
Janine Granda. She is a newer to me, narrator, and she is perfection!! I loved her performance, and I will definitely be seeking her out.

Holy smokes, this story was fun! This is my first time delving into a Brittanee Nicole novel. In this holiday novella, she delivers a taboo romance with an age gap that will leave readers fanning themselves. The fast-paced story keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the chemistry between Lake and Ford is absolutely amazing!

Overall, if you enjoy spicy reads and a little bit of taboo, this book is a must-read. And let's not forget the incredible duet narration by Sebastian York and Janine Granda, who bring these fascinating characters to life!

Sweet & Spicy Revenge! Great Story & Narration🎧

Brittanée Nicole pens a beauty of a novel, and revenge has never been sweeter or even steamier. Lake Paige is a pop star sensation and has been dating Paul Ford for almost two years. That was until she catches him in a compromising position with her tour manager and she breaks up with him. Lake, known for her kindness and good girl image, goes out that night and tears up the town. Her publicist catches wind of this and calls Ford, the owner of the record label she works for, and Paul’s father, and he goes to rescue her from her own self. Ford knows his son was wrong and him to stay out of the limelight, but nope, the idiot has to post pictures of his new beau, which is another blow for Lake and her friend suggests she has a revenge relationship and she goes on the prowl, and when Ford butts in she her revenge plan gets even sweeter. The chemistry between Lake and Ford was sizzling hot, he felt an attraction to her from the moment they met, because of circumstances he kept it to himself. Ford shows Lake how a real man treats a woman, in the spiciest of ways. Could this revenge fling turn into something more? I loved how everything played out in this fabulous off limits romance novel. How could something so wrong feel so right? The story has a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. The writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Brttanée Nicole, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Janine Granda and Sebastian York, as always, do an amazing job of bringing these characters and story to life. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, with Granda nailing it as Lake, grasping every aspect of her personality, from her sweet side to her naughty side. York falls into Ford’s role naturally, delivering a swoon-worthy performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and have you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances this already fabulous story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Boy, I have been missing out on some excellent writing!
Revenge Era by Brittanee Nicole has to be one of my all-time favorite audiobooks now. It’s just so delicious! The writing is just brilliant! Now I know that sounds funny. But I’ve become so picky with books and audiobooks. So, buying all audiobooks just after this one taste is enormous for me.

Short but packed so well it wins Tetris

I love this author and the world she creates. It’s incredible. I look forward to the next book!
