Publisher's summary

In many ways, Conner seems like an ordinary boy growing up in the 1960s. But since the age of four, he and his brother have been abducted by aliens multiple times. Conner’s gift of seeing beings from the spirit world sometimes gives him access to protection and comfort, but at other times, his ability adds to the horror of being hunted by extraterrestrials.

As he matures, Conner must learn which alien races he can trust, what they want with our planet, and how their agendas tie in with biblical prophecy. While dealing with frequent moves and trouble at home, Conner will try to survive unrelenting attention from an alien race who has decided his genome may hold the key to saving their people.

This story creates a thrilling fictional narrative out of copious research on alien abduction conducted by the authors, including numerous firsthand accounts never made available to a general audience.

Critic reviews

“Too intense for kids, this fascinating story blends spirituality and alien encounters in a way I have never seen before.” (Brandon Mull, #1 New York Times best-selling author of Fablehaven and Five Kingdoms)

I want book #2!

Listened to this in 6 days. I couldn't stop after starting. Very good story line and eye opening if based on true events.

Intriguing Story

The authors call it an historical parable. I’d love to know what was the inspiration for this story. It definitely causes one to think about what’s out there. The music played during dramatic moments, often enhanced the setting but sometimes drummed out the dialogue.

It’s a ride every time!

I just finished the audio version after reading the physical copy. Return from Rysa is a phenomenal work with profound meaning. Whether you have a belief in Aliens or not, it’s quite a ride, but if you have learned about alien encounters on any level this book puts it’s all in a logical order. Definition a great listen and production, one quite unique from any other!

A fascinating tale.

Phill Wright and Richard Nelson have crafted a memorable and important work for our day. This “parable based on true events” strikes me as a great story, and a timely reminder of the very real struggle between good and evil. The main protagonist—Connor—is a young boy with profound abilities whose experiences are sometimes chilling and heartbreaking, while at other times wonderful and joyous. Thanks to the purity of his heart, and the love and protection of others seen and unseen, Connor’s experiences can help all of us to better see and hear events in our personal lives and in the world around us with greater clarity and hope. I first read this book in paperback, and enjoyed it so much that I got it in audio as well. So glad I did! Hearing Phill read this story aloud made the story even more impactful for me. Well done! Looking VERY forward to book two!
