Amazing Story

As a person who sits on the board of a Low-Cost Vet service non-profit, this was an eye-opening story that really helped shed light on the rescue industry. Laurie's story is absolutely incredible and heartbreaking at the same time. The narrator wasn't my cup of tea, but the story was what was most important.

This author is the epitome of hero complex. If you want to rethink your rescue by hating white people and blaming "the rich" go ahead and read this book. It can serve as quite the distraction for you if that's what you need.
