The book I was craving for Jack & Mallory

This is the book I wanted! I fell in love with Jake & Mallory in Sunkissed Days. I wanted them together so bad but there were misunderstandings. In this book they are brought back together due to a tragedy. Pops has passed away. I knew it was going to happen but I still wasn't ready for it, just like Jake and Mallory. Pop has a few surprises for the family from his will. It causes Jake and Mallory to have to be around each other. In Sunkissed days it was Mallory trying to prove to Jake she was mature enough for him and that they were a good idea. Now she doesn't trust him with her heart. He has to convince her he is a different man and ready to commit to her and won't break her heart. Mallory also has to decide what she really wants out of life. This book gripped my heart and I was totally consumed. I was so team Jake. And I loved that we got some more details on the other characters that set us up for more in the series. Jake and Mallory are for sure my favorite, right now. I really didn't know what would happen with them. I am not spoiling the end but this is a must read for romance fans everywhere. And if you chose to listen like I did, this narrator will make you feel like the characters are telling you their story in person. Take a trip with me to Magnolia Sound. You'll want to stay like I do.

An enjoyable beach getaway

A wonderful happily ever after story about the strength of family, tradition and a relationship that endures from young love to a mature, committed future. Good narration.

Phenomenal beginning to Ms. Chase's Magnolia Sound

Remind Me is the phenomenal beginning to Samantha Chase’s newest series Magnolia Sound. Although, we did have a sneak peak into this series with Sunkissed Days which released last month, it just whetted my need for more, and Remind me… just wow!!!
Remind me is my favorite kind of romance, emotional. Get your tissues ready, Ladies, and not just one, the whole freaking box, you will need them, from the very beginning, to the very end!!! And, no they were not all sad tears, but happy tears as well. There are certainly laugh out loud moments as well.
The characters are all well developed, and I can already tell who my favorites will be, as well as the ones I will probably really dislike (the entitled b…witch)!
I floved Jake and Mallory’s story, it is a second chance at love romance. We saw the beginning of their romance in Sunkissed Days, and yes, you really should read it first, because it will give you more of insight of why things happened the way they do in this book. This book also shows us that real feeling for another person never die, and will rekindle if given half a chance.
In my most humble opinion, Samantha Chase has most definitely continued her wonderful story writing craft with Remind Me and I cannot wait to read about the rest of the family.
Narrator Carly Robins, did an outstanding telling this story. As I stated above, I cried many emotional tears during the telling of this story, and I think they were even harder during the telling of this wonderful book. Kudos Ms. Robins, I think Ms. Chase chose very well when she chose you to narrate this book.

Jake and Mallory

They meet and have a summer romance then it’s time to move on. She feels betrayed by the way things ended, innocent as they were, she was too immature to see it well. Fast forward years later and Mallory is back living near Jake ...

Not up to Samantha's usual greatness

I am an avid reader and have read all of her books, however I was really disappointed with this one, it lacked strength of characters and for once I really could not imagine them making it for the long haul, but that is just one opinion I know. But I really wanted her to know, she writes really great books and this is in no about those books, I love her books but in this case, not so much...
