what the...

Do you like instant love? Weird power balance? Or a romance style á la the 30s? Well good for you, I hated it.

sweet well-written story. worth the time!

the story overall is very sweet. I love how descriptive the author is of everything, you can actually picture things! the only complaint I have is that it never really says that they used her designs for their company. I thought their story would continue in book two but they are all standalone books in this series. each one has nothing to do with the other. that disappointed me. everything was predictable like most of these books are but I really enjoyed it

Short and Sweet

This audiobook was a short but really sweet and clean romance. It was a nice break from the super angsty, highly sexualized contemporary romances.
Coleen Marlo is a new-to-me narrator and her storytelling fit the story fairly well.

Very Sweet

I loved this sweet short story. I have no idea why so many authors feel the need to mess up a good story with too much detail about sex scenes. Thankfully this book did not contain them.

Cute and sweet

This short novella is pretty cute. We meet Derek, leading man who has his life together which all comes to a halt when a baby is dropped at his doorstep. The baby is his brothers who is a take no responsibilities kind of guy. Derek enlists ,Kayleigh, who works for him to take care of the baby. What starts as an inconvenience ends up being just what he needs.

Did not finish

I got about halfway through the story and just had zero desire to finish. The story just never clicked for me and had me annoyed so I just quit. I’m not a quitter (when it comes to books 😂) but I just felt like I was wasting my time. The characters didn’t draw me in at all!

Unbelievably Stereotypical

I am struggling, in 2021, to listen to stories where the supposedly meek woman in a lower-level job stares starry-eyed at the owner/boss who is perfectly beautiful but a jerk. And of course he falls in love with her and the world is great. This one is even worse because she swoops in and takes care of a child. Is this really written by a woman?
