Publisher's Summary

Best-selling romance writer Hayden Lane has just lost the "perfect" man, but what real man could compete with the dark intriguing character she writes about? But when a psychic tells her that Hayden has had a past life, she yearns to know more, and despite the psychic's warnings, Hayden cannot let this go.

In an effort to learn about her past, Hayden is hypnotized, but instead of merely remembering, she awakens in Edwardian England and immediately faints. But when she wakes up again, she will embark on an adventure beyond her wildest dreams -- and will have the chance at a love so rapturous that it defies the boundaries of time.

Suffused with Jude Deveraux's trademark warmth, humor, and tender sensuality, Remembrance is an unforgettable tale of a remarkable woman and the one man who was her destiny.

MY BAD - this is abridged!

Any additional comments?

This is my fault - I didn't realize when purchasing that it was the abridged version.

This is one of my favorite Jude Deveraux novels, and the abridged version just does not do it justice.

Preformed very well

I prefer the full story to the abridged version. Love the story, though.

fairy tale

Would you try another book from Jude Deveraux and/or J. Smith-Cameron?

I loved this book when I was younger. The abridged version just takes out to much of the story. It's a great story and I would love to see a movie made of the book, but we need an unabridged version of the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Remembrance?

When Callie and Talis were the center of the story. That part is my favorite. The characters seem so real and one can almost hate John Hadly and Alita.

What about J. Smith-Cameron’s performance did you like?

She does a great performance. She changes her voice well to fit the mood and scene.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not unbridgeable

Abridged!!! Really, this needed to be unbridgeable to really understand the characters , the plot. I loved the real book of this title l. The narrator was very good. Again I was unhappy about the length and it beaming bridge. This is the only audiable books in a bridge, due I loved the author and the storyline.

Be careful its is Abridged

I loved this book years ago and I thought I'd enjoy hearing it on my commute to work all week. Too bad I didn't realize it was only 3 hours so it didn't last me even a full work week.

My fault for not paying attention but it used a credit that I paid more for than the book costs. I knew it was cheaper but I loved the book years ago so I thought it would be worth it to keep it in my library.

I do not recommend this Audiobook.

Do yourself a favor-buy the hard copy! The story was abridged so much that it didn’t make sense at times. I have read the book multiples times and was disappointed at how much they cut out. I am now visually impaired and ca no longer read books so audiobooks have been a Godsend. If you are visually impaired, buy the hard copy and ask someone to read it to you because it is a wonderful story that the audiobook does not resemble. :( P. S. Doubly disappointing because the reader was fantastic!

ABRIDGED version - feel cheated

What a complete disappointment! A 435 page novel told in 3 hours? For almost $10? I feel completely cheated. No reference in description to this being abridged, and I didn’t think to check the time count. Audible doesn’t let you refund accidental purchases. Especially sad bc I like this story, but hadn’t read it in years. Thought it would be good for work commute. What a frustrating experience!

Where's the whole story

Very disappointed that it missed most of the story line to shorten the book. Would of liked to hear it all!

Great book and performance

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book. The story was still really good but I was bummed out that they left so much of the original book out. I have read this book 20 times at least because I love the story. It really lost something for me by not having the entire story in the audio.

Remembrances

I have both read and listened to this book. I loved reading it but did not really like someone else reading for me. Too much was left out.
