Another treasure by Jude Deveraux

Weather you like fantasy love stories or not Jude does not disappoint with this story.

Intriguing from start to finish!

Parts of the story have been done but I love how the different story lines were put together. I’m so interested now in how she will move forward with her life, so many options!!

Ready for Book 2

Loved the blend of romance, adventure, and fantasy. Well done! So excited for book 2!!!

Unfulfilling

It was hard getting into the book because the narration was frustrating. Her character voices were fine but the filler narrative was not how people talk. While the story line started to hold some promise, it went nowhere.

Cliffhanger

I am enjoying this story when I did not think I was going to, but the end of it holy freaking cow! Talk about a cliffhanger if she doesn't write another book or two to finish this out I will be very disappointed

I'm hooked

kept me excited and wo during at every turn...I really hope there's gonna be a 2nd one soon!!!

Something is missing

I been a fan for many, many years. But I have to admit I did not enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed her other books. I am not sure if it was the narrator lack of narration skills or if it was the story itself. It felt like it jumped from one thing to another without really exploring the fairytales.

Also I didn’t feel like there was a true romantic connection between the two main characters. I am not sure why we are supposed to believe that they are in love. I feel like that should haven explore further.

At this point I am not sure if I will be buying the continuation story.

Another great story from Jude

I was hook from the start. I love the characters and watching their relationships develop. The little Easter eggs she drops in to point toward deeper ties than we know. I loved it and I can't wait for the next book.

Not a complete story

It’s a real gamble to end a book mid-story. If your audience is not utterly captivated, you risk angering them, as I am. This wasn’t a “tune in to find out what happens next,” it just ends in the middle of the action. Nothing is resolved, it’s an incomplete story and I didn’t pay money for a book expecting to have to pay more money for another book in the hopes that THAT book will provide any kind of resolution. This was a decent story while it lasted, but it wasn’t good enough to compel me to keep going.

Not the ugly duckling

I really enjoyed this storyline and I’m looking forward to a future book. I love Jude Devereaux books - this was no exception. There were some plot twists (lineage, hierarchy, powers) that seemed a little boggy but that might have been on purpose and will come clear in future books. Easy, clean read with no real spice.
