Heartbreaking but Excellent

I loved that Chloe brought out Hugh's character. He was just kind of in the background in the other books. Their love story is very sweet & tragic dealing with Lizzie's mental health. I hope there will be a second book where her truths finally come out & she gets some kind of justice. I didn't really like their relationships beginning at such a young age with the sleepover & the kids drinking so young. The parents seemed blind to all of it.

The Boys are back in town…..

This book will absolutely wreck you. Lizzie’s story is a lot more complicated than I could ever imagine. The narration is absolutely amazing. I have loved them through all the books! This wasn’t my favorite story but I did like seeing both sides of Hugh and Lizzie. I enjoyed the roller coaster and can’t wait for another book!!! I’m addicted and would start over from the beginning if my heart wasn’t in shambles right now.

Absolutely amazing. I even learned stuff I didn’t know about bipolar disorder. It’s hard topics to read/listen about but overall it was well put. This series gets better and better. Listening to lizzie back story was very heartbreaking but it really made me understand how even your closest friends/your first love have no clue what you’re really going through. I can’t wait for the next book keep up the great work Chloe.

this book deals with mental health and a
social trauma in a rough way… more than the other Tommen books.
It is well written and will move feelings … however I felt it was too much… the disease, the unfairness and the anguish was border crude
But if you want to cry and suffer with a parallel story of the Tommen books … then go ahead… you have been warned

Wow. This was thick. I was wrecked at the end.

Definitely a very hard listen. I saw a ton of one star reviews and author bashing online for this one. Sadly, this kind of trauma is part of our world and to criticize the author for writing truth is ridiculous. Yes, it was gut-wrenching and heart-ripping, but necessary for the character story building. I hope there will be a second book to follow up the emotional marsh we waded through in this one. The end had me gushing. TW are a must before starting this book.

This book was so good. It’s one of the deepest books and it’s made me feel so many emotions that I haven’t felt in a long time or ever. Hugh is such a good guy like it’s crazy how good he is and Lizzie deserved so much better than the card she got and last, but certainly not lease if mark was really I hope he would burn in h*ll

This gives a true look at what it can be like living with a mental illness, dealing with trauma and being failed by the systems that were put in place to protect her. I'm really excited for the next book with Liz and Hugh.

Good but not what I hoped for

I LOVED each and every book of this series, and this one as well...I just was disappointed that it did not address where the previous book ended (huge cliff hanger for me, I felt incomplete when the book ended). Unless there is an up and coming book to tie all of the books together, I am left with a tad of sadness not knowing how everything came out between Lizzy and Gibsie.
