CW: Inappropriate relationship between adult and child

The only thing I liked about this one was Rosalyn Landor. I had issues with the main male character, as he was an adult who felt like he had groomed the female protagonist. While I understand that may be period appropriate, I struggled to like him because of it, despite his redeeming qualities. The narrator is my favorite, or I would have stopped listening.
