enjoyed it greatly. many parts made my day ,but getting the new puppy was the best. the narrator was clear and kept you interest.

Yet another great story in this series

The whole story was great, it kept me wondering what would happen next. I especially liked the journey of the two girls and how their interactions with each other. I also enjoyed how Horace was more of a main character in this one. Well done!

My father introduced me to the Ranger’s Apprentice about a year ago. I LOVE Ranger’s Apprentice. FYI I heard that they are going to make a Movie and if you made it this far in the series you should be excited.

Excellent and suspenseful

This book goes very deep to the feelings that Will holds for his Holt and shows the lengths at which he will go to save him. I loved the twist and turns that the book conveyed, and all in all it was another great book from this series in this writer.

Amazed once again

The Rangers apprentice series never seases to amaze me. I mostly listened to this book while driving and even when i arrived at my destination, I would happily stay in the car, listening untill the chapter would end.

Great Story...poor narration.

Flanagan continues doing a great job at bringing the Rangers story to life, however he might consider getting a better narrator. Keating lacks the skill in making each character distinctive. All the voices sound the same and the pitch of his voice never changes. Halt should be a low, level voice of reason and confidence, but Keating makes him sound like a questioning naive youngster. I was very disappointed when I first started listening to the story but hung in there because I enjoy Flanagan's excellent work.

a great addition in the adventure series

Another great adventure with the whole group it was fun and exciting.... They fight evil but these stories are not as dark as some. I wonder if this is Halt's swan song. The performance of the narrator was excellent.
