Dr.Meeker touched on many relevant issues that our daughters are encountering today. Great book! I read it with my daughters, it was a great ice breaker and many interesting topics for conversations.

Best book I've read about daughters

It is updated to the culture and times we live. A Christian based book I recommend. I have three daughters, very blessed to hace read it

Great book

Every parents should read this book if they have daughters. It has helped me a lot to understand what our daughters go through in today's world.

A must read!

Such a great book on this culture and raising daughters and the flaws both parent and child have whether trying to act with good intent or just being over protective. I find this book to be most helpful and very insightful and hope to implant some changes because of this book! Might even read it over again just that great of a book!

Crucial insight, lessons, and guidance. We need much more of this kind of discussion and challenge to current cultural norms. If you hear something in this that you don't like, I recommend some serious retrospection and research before dismissing it.

Should had read the details instead of the title.

The narrator conveyed the author's voice very well.
I'd liked that most of it was relevant, but hated the prolife and anti-gender identity viewpoints from the Catholic author.
She'd claim there are medical studies that contradicts the growing mainstream movement including the choice to be gender neutral, but it wasn't presented with one reference.
I truly appreciated her insight as a mother and stories she'd shared. It made me relook my relationship with my daughters and where I need to strengthen.

On point topics

I love how the author touched on everyday hard topics and put them into perspective, even if you’re not starting out with a toddler. You still can change and build a better stronger relationship with your daughter at any age. I feel encouraged and not so alone with the behaviors I have been seeing in my pre teen. I’m so blessed to have come across this book. I will read it again and share it with my husband. Great read!!!
