Having followed Sissy on IG for a while, I wish they had picked a narrator that better matched Sissy's vibe. This narrator sounds like a bedtime meditation.

Would and have recommended

I personally wasn’t a fan of the narrator, she sounded to robotic for me so it took a bit for me to focus. Over the book was helpful though. Gleaned good stuff from it.

Lots of tidbits I know I’ll use in the my parenting journey!

I didn’t love the narrator and some of this was very dry and repetitive. However, my daughter doesn’t suffer from anxiety and I still felt there was lots in here that will help me in empowering her, building her up and making her braver to deal with our big world. Would recommend!

great content, worst narrator of all time

it was painful to listen to the narrator. I've listened to dozens of books and never been especially bothered by a narrator until this one. Wow... just terrible. My wife heard me listening to this book and thought it was a computer generated voice...

Anyway, narration aside. the content is extremely good and had a lot of very practical advice I am implementing to give my girls the tools they need to defeat anxiety and worry. I'm so grateful to have this book and look forward to seeing my girls thrive in an area that is becoming increasingly rare.

Helps your young girls, and also you older women

What I loved some much about this book is how much I learned about my own inner self. While I don’t have daughters (yet) just sons (also make sure to read Raising Emotional Boys) this book has helped me with my nieces, my younger sisters and most of all myself. It’s help me realize why I did certain things or acted a certain way when I was younger. I plan to re read this book many times, I’m just so grateful for Sissy putting this book out there to benefit not only so many girls, but women as well.

Sissy Goff is fantastic!

I love Sissy Goff and her books, but I am going to have read this one and not listen to it...the narration is AWFUL. it sounds like AI, or a robot, and there is either no inflection, or it's given at odd times.

Content is Great. Narrator is not.

Love, love, love this book. Sissy Goff writes in a way that is both informative and helpful. I love her and her ministry. I knocked a star because the narrator is so robotic. It’s almost distracting. I really wish the author had narrated it herself!

I powered through the narrator because I love Sissy

The narrator is horrible, but the content is great. I recommend reading the book if you are easily annoyed.
