Lots of good info

Informative. I like it so far and hope to use it more. I bought this for my son who is raising cows.

This audible covers a lot and does it reasonably well give the constraints of a small audible. Some subjects are treated rather sketchily, but overall there is a lot of useful information in here, particularly for those new to farming/Smallholding

Well worth the time to learn!

Ideal audiobook for getting a better idea on how to better your understanding with cattle for the amateur to beginner plans on calving very helpful and explanation on the selection of breeding well worth following.
The downside is that you have to be informed the science is about cattle farming in America so if you're in the USA I’d avoid trying the remedies and always call the vet, absolutely the author does say to get set up with a great vet for your cattle.

Excellent detailed book

Appears to be an excellent beginner's work with very thorough coverage for the newbie. I feel I can start my herd now with a help of this great guidebook. This audiobook was amazing.

It's a great place to start, but if you seriously want to raise *any* of the animals included, you will probably want to buy an audible specific to that animal.

This audible is great. Lots of good information on cattle. Have other Storey audibles also and they are all great!

We have a cow calf operation for over 30 years in Florida. Cameron Bend Angus Ranch. This book should be a must read for anyone who wants or owns cows.

This audible is so thorough for anyone completely new to raising cattle. It's a great, easy listen. It has a great philosophy and it guides you through every aspect of the business.
