Great for choosing breeds

I love chickens. They are just the best backyard animal. Not only are they useful by producing eggs but they are also so fun to watch! I think of mine like pets that also give me yummy food. :) I'm always interested in learning more about chickens and how to make my setup better. One of the things I've been considering a lot lately was breeds. Looking back, I wish I would have chosen a different breed to start with. But, here I am. So, this book really helped me decide which breed would be better for me moving forward.

What I found in this audiobook was an easy-to-follow, beginner-friendly guide to raising chickens in my backyard. This audiobook covered everything from how to get started, coop essentials and even increasing egg production! I am on a path to reducing my footprint on the planet and being more self-sustaining and now that I’ve listened to this audiobook…chickens will be my next step! If you are interested in living a simpler, healthier life, I would highly recommend you give it a listen!

Highly informative

Let’s face it, you need healthy food to stay healthy. There is no way around it. Unfortunately most of food is highly processed and industrialized, even food with the organic label and sold at health food stories like Whole Foods. These days the only food you can trust are the food you grow or raise yourself.

That’s where this book comes in, teaching you how to raise chicken and reap the benefits of having fresh nutrient rich eggs, for the rest of your life. It’s not as hard as it seems and the book delves into all aspects of the process so you can get started with minimal effort and right away.

With so much technology today, people forget how to be organic. For those who have a farm or planning to start a farm, this is the right book for you. You'll have fresh eggs constantly in no time and not have to worry about the shady things that corporate ran farms do that effect, consumers. My brother is considering starting a farm. Amazingly helpful

A great resource for a beginner trying this for the first time. I have an empty chicken coop. And now with this book I’ll be able to select the right chickens, select the right food, go egg hunting, and I learned how to protect them. The author also included pitfalls and diseases to watch for. Awesome book.
