A must for Transport and Logistics Employees

Loved the fact that Ken himself took the time to read the book to us. Working in the Courier industry I can relate and enjoy the stories shared

Me, myself and I

If you're looking for useful insights, you will find a few, but you will need to slash your way through a jungle of narcissism.

The book is a combination of "I am amazing" interspersed with subordinates saying "Ken is amazing".

Finally, books are rarely well narrated by their authors. Unfortunately, Ken Allen is not good at narration.

It was a real struggle to finish this book. If you do, you deserve a medal.

I have been thinking whether to give it a two or a three...

It’s just an account of a normal executives life in corporate world doing common sense things. Would probably appeal to younger kids with no corporate experience. Otherwise I’m not sure why I should pay to hear a peer talk about his life. The main pint is that he closed the unproductive businesses that DHL can’t compete in. All the things about culture etc most other large businesses that can afford it that are basically competent should/would be doing as well

Not much more than a bit of corporate rah rah

Mildly interesting, but couldn't force myself to finish it. Turnaround story is interesting, but most of this book is corporate rah rah and it gets pretty tedious pretty quickly.

Good read

An honest appraisal of what it has taken to lead a good company. Also some very personal information shared with listeners.

A good read about development of company wide strategy.
