Amazing Find

What a very talented read. Fantastic author, gripping story and completely satisfies my desire for extreme horror. I stumbled upon this book by accident and sure am glad I did. Thank you Miss Judith

HEEYYYYY, DID YOU KNOW IM TRANS!?

Well I'd like to inform you that the main character is trans. There was some other things that went on but I'm pretty sure the author wanted me to know most of all that the main character was trans and gay. Or gay and trans. Some people died. I'm pretty sure some of them were gay and trans too. Maybe enby?

Sonnet’s most emotional and heart wrenching work

Judith Sonnet never misses. While I would probably enjoy anything she could write, including notes on a dirty napkin, I am still always in awe of her range and skill as an author. You can feel her heart bleed out onto the pages of this one. There’s some phenomenal splatter and extreme stories, but the heart is the Psych Ward Blues titular sequence of stories.

Judith Sonnets take on the religious aspect of this storyline was absolutely incredible.

I am, confusion.

The book starts off great. It's a bunch of short stories, which is fine. Then there is this AWFUL forward written by someone about the author and the previous stories. It was PAINFUL to listen to them try to sound hardcore and "edgy". Then the next stories start with Psych Ward Blues and they just progressively get worse and worse. I couldn't even finish the book. Not a fan of this author's style. Overall, I was just really put off by the structure of the stories because the order made zero sense to me. Narrator was fine, no issues there.
