Story
Tex gave everything he had to his country and his SEAL teammates. When an IED took away part of his leg, and his career, he devoted himself to his country and friends from behind his computer. But behind a computer is a lonely place to be. While he might put on a good front, Tex can't help but feel he's missing out when he sees how happy his friends are.

Oh What a Story!

Publisher's Summary
Julie Lytle is working hard to turn her life around. Being kidnapped by sex traffickers changed her drastically, but having grown up the spoiled daughter of a senator, Julie wishes she could’ve changed just a little sooner. Shamed by her behavior toward the woman rescued alongside her, and further embarrassed and guilt-racked over the way she treated the SEALs who risked their lives on her behalf, Julie is desperate to make amends.
With help from a DC acquaintance who’d endured her own harrowing experience, Julie connects with Patrick Hurt, commander of the SEALs who’d saved her life. If she can prove she’s not the same person who mistreated his team, he’ll grant her request to meet them - but not before the protective, sexy man makes a surprising request of his own.
Protecting Julie is a part of the SEAL of Protection Series. It's book 6.5 in the series. It can be listened to as a stand-alone, but it’s recommended you listen to the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

The continuation of protecting Fiona
The redemption of Julie Lytle who woke up one morning and didn’t like the person she was. Bye, happenstance, she meets the women of the seal team the rescued her. Her story is not as harrowing as Fiona, she their as long. After she made a plan for asking forgiveness - her indecisiveness got on my nerves. But, that’s just being human. An unusual love story.

I first saw Julie in Cookie & Fiona's story. She was awful! That led me to listen to this story, my curiosity getting the best of me. It led me well. The Julie I saw in this story was much changed. It is hard to believe that her conscience called her on it but apparently it did. She turns out to be a nice person. The immediate thing with the Commander is unbelievable. I would be interested in Senator White's reaction to the 15 year age diffrence.
Over all a good story line but rather difficult to totally buy into it all.

Love this book
I want real sure about reading about Julie, as I remember her character when she was rescued. BUT of course Susan made for an loving, kind person who admitted her wrongs.
I loved the way that Hurt was guarded with Julie but folded. While this story was short it was great.

The story showed a different viewpoint in the series where Julie comes to terms with her past actions and takes action to apologise and seek forgiveness and redemption which takes courage.
