Clean, No Sex, Lightly Christian Small Town Romanc

Works as a stand alone (or read out of order), since I did not do book 1 the series, this is a delightful, clean, sexless, friends to lovers in a small town in the South. A hopeful way to spend 2 hours. Lightly Christian.

Cute, short novella about true friendship and love

This is a cute novella that works as standalone (i did not read/listen to book 1). Once it gets to the main part of the story, it’s pretty cute and our main character has to navigate promises she ended up making to an old friend that has reappeared - along with another, unexpected person from her past.

I enjoyed the story, with a mild caveat: the ending felt a bit rushed, or sudden, compared to the pacing of the rest of the story. Hopefully there’ll be more parts, where certain budding friendships can evolve a little more :)

A sweet lovely listen

This was a sweet story. Olivia seems oblivious to Sam’s feelings for her. An old friend, a rushed wedding, & an old flame make for lots of stress & gives Sam an opportunity to express his feelings. E.L. Beckett did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life making this a lovely listen.

Another amazing story

This book was as amazing and wonderful as the first book. Amazing narrator and hope to listen to more books by this author

For anyone looking for a good clean romance. Give this book a try. It has everything. Very well written, Awesome narration. It has everything romance book lovers want.

Sweet Friends to lovers Romance!

This is the second novella in the Harland Creek series. I like this series. This is a great friends to lovers romance. I enjoyed it. I liked the slow burn romance, the amazing characters, and the sweet romance. I loved to follow Olivia and Sam in their journey to love. E.L. Beckett did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward for more in the series!

This is second book in the series.
I liked this book that it is a grea friends to lovers romance, with a slow burn.

The characters are well developed. The narration was well done.

Good, but ended abruptly..

This is my first book by this author. The story was good, but ended very abruptly. There could have been so much more to the ending than just two declarations of love. Since this is only a novella, hopefully there's a third book in the series that builds on these two characters, Olivia and Sam.

Secondly, the narrator's voice was bland and without any emotion. Her voice was pleasant enough, though.

I'd enjoy listening to another book by this author to have something to make comparisons.
