Great Reading but too shott

I finished this book wanting more. It ended too soon. I hope I meet these characters again

Awful

I’ve read all the Private series and this was a joke. Who wrote this???

Ok story

When I purchased this book, I didn't realize it's a short novel. Given that it was meant to be a really quick read, I guess it was ok. Great premise. Very predictable though.

Jack has to go on

I liked this book, even though it was short it was filled with suspense and kept me on my seat from start to ending.. The Epilogue was the icing on the cake, that alone made the book even better. This book didn't have Jack Morgan solving the case but it had Joey who had to deal with murder, money, betrayal and love, and he did a great job of protecting the client. At first Joey was skeptical about taking this job due to the murder of his partner, but Jack eases his mind with one conversation and Joey is expecting this job to be an easy job so he can get back to picking up the pieces and starting Private Johannesburg up again… Little did he know that this case would end up changing his whole life.

I do like these bookshots with everything going so quickly it was a great story and I was hanging out in through the whole thing

Decent Story

This is a good quick story with a little different style from what I normally feel when reading/listening to stories from Patterson

Narrator ruins this book.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Keeping in mind that it is a short story, then I think the plot is interesting and enjoyable. I would enjoy more about this branch of Private.

How could the performance have been better?

His accent was terrible - to the point that it was almost unintelligible in spots. His American accent portions were well done, but Joey's dialog was unpleasant.
