Publisher's summary

As the mercenary daughter of Gair, the black mage of Ceangail, Morgan is the only one who can stop the terrible sorcery her father unleashed. To do so, she must race against time and find the spell that will allow her to close the well of evil he opened. But that quest will lead her to places she never dreamed existed and into a darkness she would give anything to avoid.

With the fate of Neroche intertwined with the closing of Gair's well, the archmage Miach must help Morgan find what she needs, not only because the safety of the Nine Kingdoms hangs in the balance, but because he will do anything to protect her. Now, as they search out the mysteries of Ceangail - and the dangers of Morgan's own bloodline - Morgan and Miach have only each other to trust, heart and soul....

LOVE this book

I love this series from start to finish. I love Miach and Morgan, their character and strength. They are good role models, which is sometimes hard to find. I love the close role family plays. It is witty and clever. The narrator did a good job as well.

Quiet

Love the book, however the narrator was quiet. I felt like she was almost whispering at times making it difficult when listen in a car or anywhere with some noise. Don’t normally have this complaint with audible books.

Love this trilogy!

I've been a Lynn Kurland fan for years and amidst all her tales, this trilogy stands out as a special type of treasure. Revisiting this tale through the wonderful narration was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this tale to anyone looking for proper romance, character depth, and wonderful world building.

Nine Kingdoms

What did you like best about Princess of the Sword? What did you like least?

Have loved Kurland and this series for years. Could not stand the narration.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Laura Jennings?

Iliana Kadushen - I have no idea if that spelling is even close to correct - did a great job with Kurland's time travel novels. She would be a good choice here, as well.
