Good story

The plot itself was really enjoyable, but it’s very blatant reskinned avengers fanfiction. The character descriptions match their Marvel counterparts down to what clothes they wear and where certain injuries are. It had a negative effect on my immersion at first until I could will myself to picture different faces on the cast. It also tends to assume that the reader is already familiar with the Avengers movies.

Other than that I really enjoyed how the story flowed overall. I found myself wanting to return to it when I had to stop reading and felt the need to know what would happen next. David is an energetic distinct character and I can appreciate that in a protagonist.

And these next points are just small nitpicks for personal taste reasons, but the verb ‘niggled’ was overused and a little jarring the first time I heard it. I also think it would’ve been more fun if the alien characters were more alien, but I understand that them appearing the same as plain humans is a result of the Marvel influence. I would’ve loved me some monster boys, though.

This book had everything, sex, romance, sci-fi. The only think missing was more. It’s so hard to find good MM writing that isn’t pure erotica or lacking in a good plot. Please write more Caroline.

I loved it!

Weird, but awesome. David's dilemma, Vells plight, crystal magic and planet hopping, it all comes together in an oddly touching tale.

This was really good

I felt this book was really entertaining I like action adventures with a little bit of romance. This was the perfect mix, it gave us relevant sex scenes with a good overall story line. I did enjoy the characters and the narrator
