What a cliffhanger?!?

Amazing narration as always! The little clues left throughout the storyline with the bodyguards was a great build up to the ending of book 3. Can’t wait for the continuation of Maxence and Drew’s story.

Great Narration and Story

Book 5 in the series- definitely need to read (listen to) other book first. This is not a stand alone. Action, suspense, Hot Hot Hot sex scenes. Cliffhanger ending - July can not come fast enough to find out the ending!

Cliffhanger...again!!!! What’s next for Maxence and Dree?

Yes, I knew there was a cliffhanger when I started reading (and listening - I’ve done both). Doesn’t mean I have to like it. That said, I have been living Maxence’s story and Blair Babylon’s writing still keeps me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The narrators did a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life. My only complaint is that I have to wait to find out how things turn out for Maxence and Dree...

Brilliant addition to series

This is the third book that involves Maxence and Drew.
Yes you really need to read or listen to the books in order.
There’s plenty of action drama suspense twists and turns
that have you well and truly glued to each page.
Finishes up on a cliffhanger.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book and listen to the
audio as well. The narrator really brings the book alive.

So much detail, not enough plot advancement

I actually listened to the audiobook version, but I have the ebook as well. The reason I am giving this book four stars instead of five is that I don't feel like the plot really moved forward much in this book. We knew that Max and Dree were headed to Monaco because he was next in line for the throne and there was going to have to be a Crown Prince named after the death of his uncle and brother. Dree was coming to be Max's assistant and to hide out from the drug dealers her ex-boyfriend sent after her. That is more or less where we are at the end of this book. There is a lot of talk of the machinations for naming the next Crown Prince. There is a lot of talk about their relationship. There is a lot of talk about what they want for the future. And then there is a cliffhanger for the next book.

Loved it!

This is a great continuation to Max and Dree's story! I love seeing more of Max's story and seeing Dree stronger now. She doesn't seem to be as naive as in the previous books. With this ending it had I can't wait to see what happens next.

Great book Love the whole thing

This book reminds me of rollercoaster ride, your excited as you go up and down and turns and even loops that what this book is All intrigue and plotting the rich and the nobles and just when you get to the top hill and your excited and scared what about happen Blair HALTS the ride! GAH!!!!! I cant wait for next book so we can PLUNGE down that hill and see what the next curve is!

Another addition to this addictive series.

Awesome listen and read, however, total cliffhanger alert. The narrators do a great job. The intrigue is thick with this installment of the Maxence series. Yet, the deadly corruption and underhandedness of most of the characters was not a surprise. I found Max to be humanly disappointing in places, yet hope of his redemption is in the next book. As always Blair, spins a great tale. Grab this whole series, it is addictive.

Maxence is now in Monaco, trying to settle who will be the next king. He does not want to be in the running, although he is second in the hierarchy. He is now questioning himself if he should be a priest or not. Good story with great narrators.
