Winnie thinks she's ready to take the next step with a guy she's been seeing, who also works for her father as a driver. Unfortunately, he has ulterior motives. In an attempt to prevent his revenge with going public, an arranged marriage is set up for Winnie.

Archer is next in line to take over his father's hotel empire. His father agrees with the owner of a rival hotel chain that an arranged marriage between their children is in their best interest. Archer doesn't disagree either. He sees this union as a benefit for him when he does take over the hotel chain.

Winnie and Archer are not friends. They grew up being taught to despise the each other and never trust them. Their arranged marriage is agreed upon and planned out within a day. Winnie has to move into Archer's brownstone the day of the marriage and take on the role of his wife rather quickly. She doesn't trust Archer though.

Archer is quick to realize his feelings for Winnie but wants her to trust him before he'll act upon them. Winnie struggles with fully trusting Archer but does enjoy his company.

I loved this story and the characters in it. I also loved how Margo and Beck make an appearance in this book. The friendships that are written into this series are just what everyone needs. Archer is the best arranged marriage groom there is. Stone cold to the world but the biggest teddy bear with his wife.

narrators did amazing like the last book but…

This is book 2 of the Black Tie Billionaires series and I found this one a bit repetitive with phrases, descriptions, dialogue. I enjoyed the spice, but the plot was a bit hard to love. I liked seeing characters from the first book pop in, their friendships with the main characters were so cute. This one just felt similar to the first book, where new information is revealed during the climax and then wrapped up so quickly to an end. I enjoyed the first book but not so much this one. I still look forward to the next book in this series 😊

Must read so good

This is a love story there’s no other way of saying it. This is happily ever after all the way through, which has you swooning. This is HEA all the way throughout there’s no really big overdramatic issues except right at the end but that wasn’t even that big of an issue it’s more so about two people that just begin to fall in love with each other and discover each other and yes,there’s spice.

Cute story; not as cute narration

Cute Romeo & Juliet type of story (but with heeo). Would have been better if read as a duet; the narration made it hard to get through at points.

Started out a bit choppy, I was concerned that I would not finish. However, the storyline became more interesting, and before I knew it...I was invested. Enemies to lovers...great steamy scenes. Narration was ok, but should've been a duet.

I really enjoyed this book! This is the second Kat Singleton book I have listened to and so far I am loving this series! I am really interested in listening to her other books now!
