I can’t wait for Mary Kubica to come out with another book. Pretty baby was an exceptional storyline.

Idk this writer seems to have some internalized misogyny that she needs to work out? It feels like a lot of her stories boil down to “bitches be crazy” and it’s getting a bit rote.

Narration was good

The story was slow and convoluted but the narration was good. Bummed I used up a credit on this one.

Every detail

This story is well written and laid out. The author is able to weave every detail so that you feel you’re right there watching it as it unravels. Though I’m a bit obsessed with this author, I will say this story left me one a few more details at the end.

BEWARE! THIS BOOK WAS RELEASED 9 YEARS AGO!

I love this author and purchased this book yesterday, but as I'm listening, it sounds familiar. Sure enough when I check my library, I already bought and listened to this book in 2015.

The book was written 13 years ago. I had the first one in my library.

I disliked that this was promoted as a “new” book by Mary Kubica. Her writing has improved over the years. She is a favorite of mine. This book not included.

THIS BOOK WAS RELEASED ORIGINALLY IN 2015!!!

As in another review as I was listening to this book it sounded familiar. I went to read about it and seen another review that said this happened to them. I looked in my library and I had already purchased. I was able to return it and get my credit back.

Not a new release!!

I already listened to this! It is not a new release. I wasted a credit on this! Why Audible?? Why?

Was 7 hours in when I finally acknowledged that NOTHING HAPPENED IN THIS BOOK. The “twists” are all very predictable and jammed into the last few chapters (which hardly seemed worth finishing after so much blah). Don’t waste your time.
