Publisher's Summary

The bowtie is back!

Dre was just a beautiful stranger when Preppy saved her the first time around. Now, he has to save her again, but she's no longer some stranger, she's family, and he has no idea who or what he's up against.

What he does know is that putting his family back together is the only acceptable outcome.

Preppy's to-do list?

Save family. Seek revenge.

He's alive...and he's out for blood.

Preppy: Part Three is the third book and conclusion of Preppy and Dre's story. It's also the seventh book in the King Series.

Last book is good

Ok, some like myself read reviews before checking a book out. Well thos caused me not to actually want to listen to the 3 books. I am so glade I took a chance, each one is unique and adds to Preppy's story (a good love story p.s. will need tissues will not say way but you must read all three books. enjoy

Third and final Preppy...

I'm recycling my reviews of the first 2, because it's nearly the same. Loved the books, didn't gel with the male narrator.

Lance's voices for Rage, Bear and King are awful. I especially hated his Bear voice...it was cringeworthy.

Lance's Preppy seemed a bit improved with a bit more energy.

"So yeah, I loved this book and Lance Greenfield did a good job reading, but his voice is just wrong for Preppy. I felt this this narration didn't flow with the rest of the series. This time around he just felt like a completely different character. He wasn't that hyper, awesome, crazy guy I expected. Rob Shapiro's Preppy was PERFECT and I was pretty disappointed that it was changed so completely for this part of the series.

Great book and great series. I should have read the book instead, I think.

Kirsten Leigh is fantastic for Dre. "

Ehh. Disappointed in the ending to a phenomenal series.

This should not be the last book in what was the best series I have listened to in years. It was the first book I was disappointed with in this entire series including the King and Lawless books. King, bear, and preppy deserved better than this :( It just dragged out the preppy and Dre story which clearly should've been told in 2 books instead of 3.

Uneventful ending and it never picked up.

I was sooooo looking forward to this book but it was boring and uneventful. It felt rushed and had none of the edginess her other books did, plus it was waaayyy too short.
Spoiler : In a nutshell? Preppy and Doc have a marriage ceremony....The End. That's the book!
Not worth the credit nor the $13.97 I paid for it. Just buy the ebook for 3.99 and you will be glad you didn't waste any more than that.
I kept waiting for the story to pick up and she teased like it would but nope, one tiny incident that made me go "huh? that was it???".
This is the 8th book I've listened to by her so I had expectations.

Such a good dame story man

This whole series is just the best. I honestly didn't think this would be good at all since I thought it was going to be about some kind of pre-qual before death kind of story, due to the title. Very good surprise!

4 stars

I really love the series but I have to admit as much as I love Preppy's story, there were many things I didn't like it. Sometimes he was a bit animated, but I also understand that was his personality and the way he coped with things. I am glad I finally gave the series a chance after hearing so much about it. I was routing for Preppy and Dre it just seemed that things just kept happening to them. I think most people will enjoy the series.

Devastating Perfection

This story...this series is everything. I have absolutely fallen in love with these characters and can’t believe I took a break from the series before returning for Bear and Preppy’s stories. Oh well, no regrets, these very human characters, flawed, utterly real, and devastatingly beautiful, it was completely worth the wait.

If you’re new to the series I highly recommend starting at the beginning. Read King and Rae’s story, then Bear and Thia’s, before diving into Preppy and Dre’s love story. I hope you love this crazy beautiful group as much as I do.

a disappointment for the end of Preppys story

I was hoping with the way book 2 ended and how little action there were in the first 2 preppy books this third one would be more action packed like the previous books had been. It fell short. I understood why the first 2 books were the way they were, Preppy and Dre had far more emotional stuff to work through than the other characters to become healthy enough to be together, and while I missed that nail biting action of the other books I respected and understood the need for all that. I wont say a third book was unnecessary because it definitely was, but the reasons for needing a book 3, who helped take preppy and who is after Dre, arent addressed till the last 2 hours of the book, and even then it was done poorly. The whole scene where they finally address the happy face tattoo guy is over in like 5 minutes and we dont actually find out who he is or anything, I really think she forgot to put that in and had to throw something quick together. There were several other things that the ending rushed too or doesnt address how you expect it to based on TM Frazier's writing style. There was honestly way too much sappy crap, crap that didnt really fit these characters personalities. my favorite part of this book was Bo. and hey if the author is reading this, I still love you and this series and you should seriously do a spin off series about all of their kids in the future, starting with Bo!!
So yeah it was a definite let down for the end of Preppys story, still a good book, but my least favorite of thr series by far. which is sad cause Preppy is my favorite character (apart from B and Jake).

2 books would be enough

Would you try another book written by T.M. Frazier or narrated by Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh ?

I love all TM Frazier's books.

If you’ve listened to books by T.M. Frazier before, how does this one compare?

There are 3 books about Preppy, but I think it would be just enough if TM Frazier fit the story into 2 books. I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting a lot when I started Preppy's books. I wanted more of his craziness I got to see in King's story. I loved how loopy he was. But Preppy in his own books was a bit boring. Especially after he was held for a year and tortured and it didn't seem to affect him that much(?)

Do you think Preppy, Part Three: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. I don't think I could go through 4th book about Preppy. They were a bit boring. Unless TM Frazier would up the game.

EPIC!!!!

I am suffering from a book series hangover!!!!!! Preppy Part 3 ended with a BANG!! TM Frazier doesn't disappoint in this final instalment of the King series/Preppy's story, picking up seamlessly from part two! I loved Dre and Preppy!!!! And Bo was just adorable!!! I am going to miss all of the characters in this series - I feel as though I am part of their craziness!!!! The narrators, Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh, in this audiobook were phenomenal!!!! I don't think they could have cast anyone more perfect for these roles!!!!! 10+ "because pancakes" stars!!
