Football star Cole Riley is notorious for doing as he pleases - on the field and off. He parties hard and fights harder. But if he doesn't clean up his act, his career is over - so Cole reluctantly agrees to work with image makeover consultant Savannah Brooks. He's not used to being told what to do, especially by some (admittedly hot) Southern belle. As for Savannah, she's not convinced she can transform this cocky (and aggressively sexy) force of nature. But she's determined to give it her best shot.

When the sparks start to fly, Savannah lays down the ground rules: no personal complications. If she can turn off the tingle she feels every time Cole gives her a hot stare with his gorgeous baby blues, he can turn off his desire as well. But for two people determined to have it all, a hands-off policy can only last so long before one of them yields.

I'm behind on my reviews and playing catch up but I loved Cole and Savannah! These two were perfect for each other. She is brought in to help him redeem his image and clean up his bad boy ways and help him play nice with his new team and he just want to play nice with her. With all the chemistry between the two there was no way this was not going to happen. Once they figured this out and Liz got on their team they just had to figure out the rest. I love this series and the Riley family!

Okay, I get the "I can't, but I want to" in the plot, but it went on way too long. And I don't really see anything in the plot to change it. Still really great sex, just not as much as usual.

Too much hesitation

Playing to win featured an athlete who had a bad attitude and an image consultant who was trying to make him more marketable. The heroine was best friend was Liz from changing the game but it wasn’t anywhere near the chemistry as that book. I heavily enjoyed it but they weren’t extremely memorable in comparison.

The hero just didn’t have a team player persona which was costing him money so while I enjoyed it, he was the downfall of the novel. More like a 3.5

Enjoyable but missing something

Loved it! They are cracked but, together not broken. The traditional HEA. The narrator was spot on. And, they complete the story. well worth the credit, can't wait for the next one.

Loved it!

I miss the original Riley boys.. Jenna... not so much... Cole is meant to be the bad boy but he is just .... I don't know lacking something in his story... I think we need to move on from this. I think I am going to skip until we get to the race car driver...

Not as Hot as Books 1 and 2
