A most-anticipated title from USA Today, Goodreads, BookPage, BookRiot, Seattle Times, and The Nerd Daily!

Everyone's favorite lethal SecUnit is back in the next installment of Martha Wells' bestselling and award-winning Murderbot Diaries series.

Having someone else support your bad decision feels kind of good.

After volunteering to run a rescue mission, Murderbot realizes that it will have to spend significant time with a bunch of humans it doesn't know.

Including human children. Ugh.

This may well call for … eye contact!

(Emotion check: Oh, for f—)

“This spectacular journey, punctuated with satisfying combat scenes, takes on an epic flavor grounded by Murderbot’s sardonic voice and Wells' exploration of mental health and physical well-being. Equal parts action packed, humorous, and heartfelt, this proves the series shows no signs of slowing down.”—Publishers Weekly

Fun, quick adventure. Reminded me of road trips with family minus explosions and robots. I loved the part with Three.

Another great addition to the series

The Murderbot Diaries series is one of the best science fiction series I've read. The future living environments, human experience, economy, and cultures are described as a background against which people are the same kind of people we have now. Kind, mean, selfish, generous, intelligent, base. The surroundings have evolved, but the people are so recognizable.

The power of corporations over people's lives is sad, and perhaps prescient in being more open about indentured or enslaved workers. That may not be so far in the future, given what we glimpse happening now.

I watched the Murderbot TV series last year, am looking forward to the next season, and enjoyed the show's writing and how its visual storytelling colorfully expanded the Murderbot books.

Platform Decay was a delicious description of a futuristic enormous space station. I enjoyed SecUnit's growth process and, of course, missed more interaction with favorite characters from previous books, and I can't help but hope they will be back too. I wish Martha Wells good health and hope she finds time to tell us more about SecUnit's life in the future.

Thank you, Martha Wells and Kevin R. Free

Another great story. I liked the new characters. Great narration. More, please. Maybe a story from Three.

Murderbot sticks it to the corporates, again.
