READ THIS REVIEW

If you, like many others have problems with self discipline ( a problem I have been viciously working on for the last few months) then this book is so incredibly helpful. I absolutely love philosophy anyway and everyone knows that Stoicism and self discipline goes hand in hand. Truly a great book on the subject. The narrator was great as well.
If you aren’t familiar with philosophy and stoicism I urge you to look into it.
Now for my own thoughts : at first I thought this book was only about weight loss....which at first disappointed me very much. As self discipline is more than weight .I was irritated that a book on something as important as SELF DISCIPLINE was only focusing on food... and began to think the author miss labeled the book. Don’t come at me either for that statement.. I’m sure the weight and food thing is a very difficult struggle for some but since I’ve never had a weight issue ( rock climber chick here )..I simply can’t understand or relate to the material and was fixing to return this book BUT I’m pleased I stuck thru all because it eventually includes everything related to self discipline and was amazingly helpful ! Great read
