Pretty predictable and boring too longwinded and not suspenseful the end by me no more

the storyline is intriguing but the narrator is so awful. she doesn't change her tone or inflection, same voice basically for everyone and half the time she makes the characters sounds pissed off. I had to stop listening

Engaging stories

Interesting characters, older than typical for cozy mysteries, who have rich backgrounds and cut across social and economic levels. Really engaging stories. Enjoyed every minute of it. Virtual voice narration was pretty good, had some trouble pronouncing the a few of the main characters’ names. I may read them all again!

Awful AI narration

The storyline was entertaining but the AI narration ruined it. The cadence was off and the amount of mispronunciation really interfered with listening to

The intonation of the narrator is robotic, using peculiar emphasis that hurts the ear. The limit was when TACO was pronounced TA-KO with emphasis on the first syllable.
Whatever happens in pelican cove will need to happen without me.
