the storyline is intriguing but the narrator is so awful. she doesn't change her tone or inflection, same voice basically for everyone and half the time she makes the characters sounds pissed off. I had to stop listening

The intonation of the narrator is robotic, using peculiar emphasis that hurts the ear. The limit was when TACO was pronounced TA-KO with emphasis on the first syllable.
Whatever happens in pelican cove will need to happen without me.

Horrible narration, okay stories

The narration is robotic, mispronounced words, and tone was wrong for characters. I had to stop listening due to the poor narration & the storylines.

Enjoyable

I thought the stories were interesting and enjoyable. The narration was awful and I won’t be reading another book in virtual voice. I really hope that authors stop using it.
