Don't Miss Book 4 in the USA Today Best-Selling Mystic Notch Series!

Three hundred years ago, accused witch Hester Warren buried a magical box in Mystic Notch. The secret contents within have the power to bring disaster to the town, and when the box is dug up at a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Mystic Notch Historical Museum, Hester's ghost and that of her cat make an appearance to warn the humans and enlist their help to ensure the box doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Too bad the only one listening is Pandora, the cat.

Pandora soon finds herself on a treacherous path, battling humans and cats alike, where secrets are revealed and alliances that previously seemed impossible are made. But when one cat makes the ultimate sacrifice for the good of Mystic Notch, Pandora realizes things are not what they seem and is forced to make a decision that could put her own life at risk.

This Mystic Notch adventure is a little shorter than the others and almost entirely from (the cat) Pandora's point of view! It's a standalone mystery, but it will be a lot more fun for you if you listen to at least one of the previous Mystic Notch books first, as there are some secrets revealed about the characters, and you'll enjoy it more if you already know them.

Hiss

It sounded cute. It sounded like a light, fun read. But nah. Even my cats left the room. The narrator does a decent New England accent though.

More Fun with the Cats in Mystic Notch

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book if you've read at least one of the other books in the series. The story is very focused on the activity of the cadre of local cats we've met in past books trying to make sure that good triumphs over evil in their town. The humans take second place in the narrative. I quiet enjoyed the cats having their own adventures but it could be pretty confusing to someone who isn't reading the series.

What did you like best about this story?

Development of some of the cat characters and an interesting story line. Revealing that Striker also communicates with ghosts was a bit of a stretch, we'll see where the author takes this in future stories.

Have you listened to any of Elisabeth Rodgers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She's always great.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and because it's a shorter story I almost did.

Pandora saves the day!

Just as good as the first 3 books. This story was told from Pandora's point of view. Her view gives some secrets that has not been given prior. Love these books look forward to the next.

Fun Read

Well this was a cute concept. Telling the story from the cat's perspective. If you enjoy the not so serious and can appreciate a little mystical fantasy then is is a quick little read to pick up. Gives one a new appreciation for how animals hear our words. I will be mindful next time I fuss at my furry family member.

Mystic Notch

A delightful mystery featuring the magical cats of Mystic Notch and a mysterious silver box containing a very dangerous magical potion, buried over 300 years ago by Hester Warren, a woman accused of witchcraft and subsequently burned at the stake. If you enjoy the actions and antics of cats and enjoy a bit of mystery, you'll most likely enjoy this cute new series by Leigh an Dobbs. 😍

At the ground breaking of the site of the new Historical Society, a silver box is dug up which may contain a threat to all of Mystic Notch. The ghosts of a witch and her cat appears to Pandora and explains that the town’s cats are n danger. Time to gather the forces of good to save the future. Great story as told by Pandora.

💗💗💗!

I Really enjoyed hearing this book from the perspective of Pandora and the other cats~ it was a lot of fun!
the Striker secret that comes out, to the cats at least, was a good one! can't wait for Willa to find out too, and see where things go from there=)
Ms Dobbs writes an enjoyable story, and Ms Rodgers brings it all to life in spectacular fashion! her ability to voice-differentiate, and make you believe you're listening to several different voice actors, is nothing short of fabulous!
now! on to the next!
