Publisher's Summary

Tori Hunter always worked solo, but in Samantha Kennedy, she found a partner, in more ways than one. Casey O'Connor isn't thrilled to learn that she has a new partner on the way. It's been hard enough to transition from working with live victims to dead ones. Now, Leslie Turner is going to slow down the process.

Professional duty trumps personal issues as the detectives focus on their latest case, a killer whose choice of victim is solitary women. The investigation raises a lot of questions around the killer's means and opportunities. Leslie would be happy if the questions stopped there, but she's also wondering why she'd rather spend time with these women - specifically Casey - than with her fiance.

Casey would also like to stick to business, but as the case intensifies, she finds herself also watching Tori and Sam and wondering how they balance their public personas and private passions. Figuring it out is a pointless exercise, she tells herself, because that kind of lightning can't possibly strike twice.

Tori & Sam 2.0

Title really says it all, but I DID love it all the same!! It was nice to see Tori and Casey’s sisterhood evolve and how supportive they all are for each other. I could do without the constant use of the phrase “make love”... it just gets cringy after 3 books! It also seems highly improbable that the same “straight partner-turned-lesbian” situation would happen to the same small unit twice in a short period of time. Basically, the Homicide unit is 4 lesbians and one pretty boy player turned big brother and two absentee disliked detectives.
Aside from all this, I love the series!

Homicide Gets Two New Detectives.

Loved the continued story of Tori and Sam, Dallas police officers. Casey joins the homicide squad and is already part of the team. New killings by a serial killer has all pulling 24 hr shifts and the attraction between Casey and a new woman on the team is growing. Great performance as usual by Abby Craden. Love anything by the author.

Just one thing.

I love Gerri Hill books. But now I remember why I stopped this series. I hate when an Author keeps
you hanging just for more money. For book 2, left hanging and still in book 3 she went totally to
another case and left you hanging in book 3. And that my friend is cold.

Wow, another great by Gerri Hill.

Gerri Hill not only writes great romance, but nail biting thrillers. Enjoy the plot and try to untangle the mystery while taking a cold shower because of the passionate love scenes.

Exciting, Heartfelt and Romantic.

The storyline was romantically erotic in all the right places. The friendships are heartwarming and Abby Craden really gives each character a heart and soul. My one and only dig would be a more complete ending but it leaves room for a continuing story. Overall It wil definitely be worth a reread.

Meh

Someone else wrote Tori and Sam 2.0 which was pretty good summary. Although Tori and Sam's story was better written. More character development. This book just felt flat. There was so much potential from the police procedural aspect of the story to the relationships between not just Casey and Leslie but Tori and Casey, Tori and Sykes, Sykes and his new love interest, Sam and her family...I mean pick an aspect of their lives and develop their story. By this point as a reader I felt invested in them and wanted to know more about what's going on with them emotionally.
The ending seemed abrupt and unfinished. The tie-in with Robert was like "why" I mean sure I get wanting to bring him into the story but then nothing. It could have contributed to tying up parts of their history but instead it was used just to make him seem like an ass which was already established. I'm not explaining it well and maybe that is because the story was just vague all around. lots of loose ends.

Hotttt

The relationship part of this story is cute, relatable, and super hotttt at times. The whole story line was great as well but I just wish that it didn’t end so abruptly. The story should have kept going. Huge cliffhanger. That’s why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars.

Great Trilogy

I love all of Gerri Hill's books but the Hunters Way trilogy have to be among my absolute favourites. I love the strong story lines, it makes a change from the usual LesFic if Lesbian falls for unobtainable straight woman but gets her in the end!

Part 3

I'm very much enjoying these collection of books.
Awesome lesbians characters. Make sure you start from book 1 before listening to this.

Third one.

Another good story by Gerri Hill in the Hunter series. Splendidly narrated by AC.
I look forward to catching up with Tory and Sam again.

Only half a book

Not as good as the first 2 in the series. I felt like the relationships were too similar to the first book and it was way too short, felt like half of a book. Same price as other books but no where nearly as long. It was over very quickly. The rest of the story is in the next book - not ok.
