It is suggested that boys are four times more likely to get a diagnosis of autism than girls. Autism does not discriminate; it affects all ethnicities and socio-economic groups. So helpful for those early years!
I found this book to be the most helpful guide for my family and it’s relevant RIGHT NOW! I have a 1.5 & 3 year old and am so happy to have these tools in my pocket now! There are also so many nice reminders to take a step back and try to see those tough times as opportunities and to be more understanding of what my children are feeling and learning in all their moments both easy and hard. I have a feeling I will revisit some of these chapters multiple times as I try to raise and guide my children to be resilient, secure, and empathetic. Thank you for this amazing read (listen)!
