This was an awesome book!

I always like Jackson’s writing style but she out did herself here. The story was great and twisted, the characters where good to hate and the ending was really freaky. I was well entertained!

A suspenseful thriller

It was difficult to stop listening to this book it caught my attention and kept me eager to hear more. Narration was excellent which added to an already gripping mystery of lies, murder n paranoid... recommend

Who deserves trust?

I found this book particularly good, because she went through so many layers of relationships. The main character had to deal both with her feelings of guilt and at the same time with deaths of friends. Meanwhile, relationship with their children appeared to be spinning out of control, and she had difficulty dealing with that at the same time, she had to contend with mixed feelings about people in her life and mixed and growing feelings for them. The author handled all of this in a gripping way that kept the reader guessing and not knowing what was going to happen. Overall, the ending was surprising and unexpected, and trusted people turned out to not be so trustworthy in the end, and new pictures and characteristics were seamlessly but critically created. You couldn't just pick up the book and know from the start who was a good guy and who the bad, nor could you guess who was going to be a disappointment and who a surprising and stalwart hero.

it was ok but not great

When I first started listening to it I didnt like the part where the person is being hypnotized. It sounded like she was doing something very different. But the storyline was good and kept me going, just seemed too slow sometimes.

Lisa Jackson never fails to amaze, this heart-pounding thriller was a true masterpiece that kept me on the edge of my seat from the first page.

What a story!

This was such a great story. Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I honestly didn't see multiple things coming. That's the most interesting books, in my opinion.

Kept me involved from the first sentence

I love reading Lisa Jackson novels! Sheila weaver with words and creates a fantastic mystery every time.

Narrator was shrill

The story was ok but not like the other Lisa Jackson favorites. The narrator was fine talking but shrill as hell speaking for the female characters especially Rachel. I had to turn the volume 3 seconds into the book. Because of this I can’t tell if the story was awful or the character Rachel was shrill and weak.
