love it

C.J. Box is one of my all time favorite authors. I love that his books take place in the wilderness mostly with great characters and stories that keep you coming back. This one didn't disappoint, keep them coming!!

once again a great book in a series of great books

I just fall more in love with this character and her strength and resilience as each book goes along. Now I will get the last book and be saddened when this is all finished and I can't read about Cassie anymore!!! CJ Box I just found out about your book series by watching the show Big Sky and now I am a huge fan!! I try to get everyone I know hooked on this series bc it's far better than the show (& the show is pretty good, so that says a lot!)...

Great action and plot. A bit predictable, but a fun (fun isn’t really the right word) listen.

This narrator did not work for me.

I know it is certainly nothing I could do so hate to criticize, but found this very difficult to listen to. The male voices that she tried to emulate were just downright painful. I think she would be fine they’re writing a novel with mostly female characters. I actually would lose track at times of what was going on in the story because I found myself trying not to listen… Kind of defeats the purpose of an audiobook.

Thrilling

I wish I could just start it all over again, I so enjoyed it. I think this time I will start at the beginning with the first book in the series. I randomly started listening out of order, which worked ok, but seems like I should have started with book one. Next time, since this is good enough to do all over again, Just great.

Glad to see another installment

I'm so glad to see another installment in the Cassie Dewell series. I enjoyed her in the Cody Hoyt series, and believed she was a strong female lead. I highly recommend this book and series, but suggest you start with the Cody Hoyt series.

Cassie did it! Hard to put down!

As always CJ Box did it again. I miss Cody, but Cassie was good and got the bad guy. The narrator bad a great range of voices.

this series isnt as good a the how pickett books

these books were good but a little contrived. the accents are way over the top and hard for someone who lives near this area to listen to.

This was great to listen to, I looked forward to my car rides every day. Great story, well narrated, kept me interested all through the story!
