Is Matyas J a computer? Is this book for real?

This is so oddly written and read. I assume a bot collected these words and then pretended it was study guide. The sentences are poorly formed, the pronunciations of basic words are wrong, and sometimes the info is just plain wrong.

Save your time and money and get a better guide.

Hard to follow

The narration of the material is horrible. It’s too robotic and hard to follow. Found myself rewinding constantly to understand what the narrator was saying. The material discussed is average. This audiobook is okay if you’re just trying to get the ball rolling but there’s much better quality material out there. Overall would not recommend.

Very basic

I don’t think this audio book will help anyone pass the PHR. It is a very basic overview of some very basic terms and ideas. Sign up for a class and study hard. I used one of my free credits so I’m not too worried about it, but it’s not great.

Great for people who've worked in HR

If you have a strong baseline of working in HR this essentially sums up what you need to know. I've read this book now and understand what details I need research to properly prepare for those knit pick items.

I do think you should not use this alone

I do think you should not use this alone for the test especially if you do not have applied knowledge. If you do not have a lot of PHR experience, I would highly suggest a training course, as well. This is a great book for an overview of PHR content and testing your knowledge. I just took the PHR and passed on the first try.

Great item to use as a study guide.PHR

Great item to use as a study guide. I found this guide easy to understand with key terms to review and a nice practice test at the end. I listen to this book first and took the practice test a couple of times. It’s a good foundation. This really helped me prepare for the exam. Covered everything you need to know.

don't waste your time or money

difficult to listen to, robotic pronunciations. question and answer format without any review of topics. very clunky, not practical for test prep as an audio book.
