Publisher's Summary

The number-one New York Times best-selling author of Bengal's Quest ignites the most dangerous instincts known to man, woman, and beast in these Breed novellas, collected in one volume for the first time.

The Breed Next Door

Lyra thinks her new neighbor looks too good to be true. But Tarek Jordan is even more than he seems: a breed enforcer on the run. And even though he wants her, Tarek knows Lyra could get burned - unless she embraces the danger that comes with loving a breed.

In a Wolf's Embrace

Matthias and Grace are meant to mate - until he commits an act too shocking to ignore. Grace knew that the hot breed was dangerous, but now she fears for her own life. Yet she wonders: could it be part of some insidious plan? For there are forces determined to tear them apart and destroy what's left of the man within.

A Jaguar's Kiss

Jaguar Breed Saban Broussard has a job to do: guard the first instructor chosen to teach breed children. But with just one kiss and his touch, a mating phenomenon begins that will tie Natalie Ricci to him forever - unless a shadow from her past gets them both killed.

Love Lora Leigh...narrator not so much

I have every Lora Leigh audio book out and listen to them over and over. I was thrilled to see that this compilation was out to fill in some of the missing Breed pieces. The narrator was ok but her voice sounds too old and as if she smokes three packs of cigarettes a day. There was very little if any distinction between the male characters. The female characters sound as if they are in their 60s not 20s or 30s. The stories are wonderful. I am hopeful Lora writes more and they are recorded in the near future.

A good catchup to the series

When you have a perfect narrator like Briana Bronte why would you keep changing when bringing on earlier books it's frustrating at best and in my opinion poor marketing.

Ok

These were ok reads but mostly focused on sex. There weren’t very compelling stories to get you really invested in any way with the characters. A better read with similar storylines but more involved plots along with steamy scenes in New Species series by Laurann Dohner.

Why change the narrator?

What did you like best about this story?

I am a big fan of Lora Leigh but this narrator was all wrong! She sounded too old for the characters with a pack-a-day voice that was grating to listen to.

Disappointed

I didn't like the narrator at all. She made me wish I had read the stories. Brianna Bronte is fantastic! Once you have heard her narrate, you are disappointed to listen to another narrator. Stay with Brianna. Lily Bask isn't the voice of the breeds.

Women

the women in these stories were whiny, self deprecating, judgemental losers. I prayes Grace would die after the second chapter

Decent but predictable times three.

The three stories start out interesting and end predictably. I struggled with it some because of constant repetition and especially the unnecessary repetition of vulgarities in the sex scenes every time. Overall okay and not terrible. Narration is a little slow, but good.

Overcome (A Novel of the Breeds)

This has three different Breed stories from the Lora Leigh series. Each different breeds who were able to meet and keep their human mate. Each a different breed has his own unique way to get their mate on board to their own possessive ways. Each has their own obstacles to over come. I have read many of the breed series and enjoyed each one. This is a collection of three. The narration made these stories interesting to listen to.

Fabulous...as usual.

I absolutely adore Lora Leigh’s stories. She weaves the fantasy, romance, sex, and, suspense together like a master. She has never disappointed me in my expectation of being transported away with her words. I look forward to the next story.
