Excellent Series

I read the first three books then became an audible member and picked up where I left off with this book. Even better when John McDonough reads to me in the car, and before bed.

My MOST favorite.

This is my go to Comfort story. I’ve probably listened to it 30 or 40 times. I wish she’d write more.

Wonderful Addition to the Mitford Series

Jan Karon's Mitford stories just get better and better. I feel like the characters are my friends and I would recognize them if I met them on the street.

Comforting

Whenever I don't know what to listen to, I almost always fall back to the Mitford series. I love listening to the author… His voice is so soothing and comforting. The story is sweet, as are all of them and I really enjoy letting the story unfold before me.

Suspenseful, humorous and uplifting

It's refreshing to listen to a story with likable, ethical, and good-hearted characters that are not perfect, but trying to do the right thing. There is suspense, but evil does not win. I wish I could move to Mitford!
