My favorite bedside companion!
I've loved the whole Mitford series so.much and have listened to them many times! I was so thrilled to see Bathed in Prayer added to Jan Karons Audible books and also thrilled to have John McDonough as the narrator! Some nights i can't get to sleep, or awaken in the night and I just listen to 15 or 30 minutes of Bathed in Prayer, and my heart and mind are calmed. What a wonderful way to fall asleep; having the prayers of Father Tim and recaps of heartwarming episodes from the Mitford series read to you by John McDonough! I have been given much peace by reading all of Jan Karon stories of Father Tim. I have been fighting cancer the last 3 years and the strength and comfort of visiting these stories has been a true gift.

A wonderful devotional while reliving the series
This is best enjoyed in small segments so you can absorb the spiritual inspiration. You can pray along with Father Tim and apply it to your life, while recalling the best moments of Mitford.

charming, entertaining, encouraging compilation
the introduction and commentation provided by Ms. Karon throughput the selected excerpts from the books ia as entertaining as the books themselves. I've thoroughly enjoyed listening. Additionally, I find it to be superb for relaxing and unwinding as i drift off to sleep.

Another Wonderful Jan Karon Mitford Book!
I love this book, as I’ve loved every book in the Mitford series. Because of my slightly impaired eyesight, I switched to audiobooks before A New Song (and purchased the earlier books in audio form), and I try to listen to all the books every year. This book does a good job of pulling together the entire series. Thank you, Jan Karon, for helping to bring me closer to God the Father and his son, Jesus Christ. I recite Fr. Tim’s Prayer often and have “turned my entire life over to Him.”
