Reconnecting in Unexpected Ways

I love how Remy Valentine and Tatum are accepting of each other's past and present, no judgments. And, as much as their shared past shaped them, I like that they both find a way to let it go.

They move with some speed, but I really like how everything progresses. I like the found family moments with Kellan's family and how different people open up, starting the healing process on new and old wounds and helping others do the same.

A couple of quick mentions: there are some dark elements, like child abuse and SA, that are touched upon to varying degrees, so keep that in mind. Also, this is part of a series, but prior reading isn't required.

I listened to the audio book. I like the narrators, Lance Isley and Colt Carter. I do wish they are in duet, but I usually do. 🎧💚🎧

Tatum & Remy 💙

Okay, I was not expecting this to be as cute as it was! Tatum and Remy are super sweet together, and I love how Tatum felt comfortable with Remy to explore his newly discovered side of him. Their intimacy was incredible and this book was the perfect length and I lost myself in it! 🥰🥰

Haven’t heard these narrators before, so that was fun! They did great with the characters and I have no doubt I’ll be hearing more from them in the future!

Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a sweet friends to lovers MM romance. 💘

Emotional

I listened to this one on audiobook and the narrators did a great job. This one was an emotion filled read that both broke and warmed my heart. There was obviously a lot of history I was missing with some of these characters but it was so easy to start with this book and put things together. This is the first book that I've read by Nicole Dykes and I did enjoy it and found myself wanting to know more and the other characters so it likely won't be the last!

Sweet story

This audiobook is a second chance MM romance narrated by Colt Carter and Lance Isley. The story is full of emotion and heart and longing. Tatum and Remy’s past relationship is complicated. They have a new found family in each other and they know they are so much better together even after spending years apart. The narrators did a really good job and I enjoyed their soothing voices.

Super sweet read, amazing audio...

Sometimes love and ethics just don’t mix well?

Written in first-person POV, alternating.
Present tense.

Such a sweet story, where a traumatized MMC starts to heal, and learns to trust again … and the way it manages to be both ‘instalove’ but also slow-burn’! (They both have the feels but take it really slowly.)

Forbidden vibes.

Slow-burn even though they’re both insta-crushing.
Trauma processing & healing.

Lots of firsts.

Overall:
A good, quick read. I’ve found you can never go wrong with this author!
