Ehhh

Lucinda is one of my favorite authors, she’s an auto buy for me but this wasn’t one of my favorite books. The ending felt rushed and without closure and I am a reader that really needs a HEA so without that, I’m always disappointed. There wasn’t really any twists, it kind of showed you who the “bad guy” was and that was it. Narrators were great and I liked the story, just not the ending.

Random book

The narrators were great, the book just felt unbelievable and random. From the beginning to the ending.

The ending

Listening to the story rather than reading it felt like I was watching a movie, it helped build the story in my mind. So glad that I decided to listen to this book.

Captivating story and narration but it NEEDS A TRIGGER WARNING. I had a hard time turning it off.

Not what I expected but still delivered.

Not the direction I thought the book would go in but was still a wonderful book.

Sucked me in right from the start

I enjoyed the book so much until the end - hated the ending. Also, I don’t trust people and I blame Lucinda Berry for this lol

Confusing and not thought out

I’m not a fan of this book. The premise is a good story but could have been explained so much better. The character that just pops up to explain goings on sealed the three for me. The back and forth between perspectives was more confusing than explaining of the story. If this book was expanded, I think I really would have liked it.

It was okay!

I usually love Lucinda Berry books but for some reason, this one just didn’t do it for me! It was good, but nothing special in my opinion!
