What great news writing. Absolutely loved the story. I want another, please. Mind bender, for sure.

I enjoyed how the story would flip from the author’s life to the first chapt of each book.

Excellent story, pieced together nicely. You’ll figure out the “mystery” early on but it does not diminish the enjoyment of the story.

Excellent story overall

Michael Wood does an excellent job of bringing the reader into the story and along for an interesting character study. Perceptive readers will catch on to the clues strewn throughout the plot and enjoy the ending. To say more might spoil this mystery.

Shocking Ending

I rea)y enjoyed listening to "Chapter One". The story really kept my interest. The characters were well developed and the story line was great. The ending however was a reL surprise. Usually I have an idea of who the murderer is. In this case I would never have guessed the murderer. The narrators did a great job. I highly recommend this book.

Very good suspense

Get this one. It’s a harrowing story of murder and mental illness. The narrator was excellent. Great read for a rainy weekend.

Convincing, Tender, Cunning, Disturbing! I’m so happy I found this author! So well performed! Excuse me while I look for more titles by Michael Wood!

Kept me guessing

I appreciated the twists and turns in this story. It kept me guessing throughout the book who the killer was, and while I was eventually able to figure out who the killer was, the circumstances were a great twist. The end started to drag on for a bit, otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

Just not my thing

I love a good mystery, a crime drama, a thriller. This was not it for me. The main character was just way to whiny the entire book. And the ending was quite predictable...

Intriguing premise

I thoroughly enjoyed this psychological thriller. It was well written and very well narrated. While I frequently found the main character, Aiden, to be frustratingly narcissistic and whiny, I still engaged with this character. His psychological struggles were palpable. While I had a suspicion of who the "villain" was, there were enough twists and turns to keep me intrigued. Overall, it was a fun read and I will look at some of the author's other books.

Very much worth your time

This author simply cannot pump the books out fast enough for me. I actually woke up in the middle of the night for more listening. The narration was excellent, and I felt the production value was very high. Kudos!
