I’ve read all her books and this was my favorite! I loved reading about Charlie and Alice and hearing about Sam and Percy. Love love love

I enjoyed the material after the novel, too.

Gentle yet glorious!

Though the storyline is a bit simple it is beautifully done! Like other Fortune stories, the setting and character development is the highlight of the story. I will say though that Alice is my least favorite FMC however as I found her a bit infuriating in her stagnant ways but in other ways she’s brilliant.

Didn't want it to end

For some reason this book hit all my feels! It resembled my own childhood and the relationship with my husband. I would highly recommend this book...I just wish there was a sequel already.

Totally in love with Charlie & Alice! I couldn’t stop listening, such a great story line! Slooooooooowwwww buuuurrrrnnnnn until the end AND totally worth it! Going back to Barry’s Bay never disappoints!
