Wonderful for a road trip

We chose this story for a road trip that included my 10 year old nephew. Adults and kids were throughly engaged. Looking forward to book 2.

A Jewel in a Dark Sea of Stories

The Kingdom is calling, and surely surely it calls loudly in stories like these.
I am on the edge of my seat anticipating the days my children can read (or listen to) these stories and understand and seek the Kingdom calling them.
And among the long list of things I am impatient with is waiting to read (or listen to) the rest of this series.

My review of the wing feather

Yes I may be a kid but I am in middle school so I think that means I’m am old enough o write a review hi everyone oh wait yeah my review I haven’t quite finished the book yet but I am listening to it as I write this review I I am at least 55 minutes through the book still got 7 hours and 20 some minutes left and I really enjoy this book so far I can’t wait to read the others I tried giving the highest review I could but it would only let me rate 4 stars not five for some reason anyways I hope the other makes even more of these books I really enjoy them bye everyone!

Great to listen to with the kids!

I listened to the first 3 books of this series on a long road trip, whole family loved it!

Fun for the family

Great to gather the family around and listen to a few chapters…there were times we couldn’t hardly turn it off! My kids love adventure stories…they are 12 and 15. The parents enjoyed the suspense as well! Definitely would recommend!

Not a fan of the narrator

Not a fan of the narrator. He sounds board with the book. Made it hard to listen to. But the story was great!

Great book!

Excellent story; fun, exciting, funny, thrilling. Just good quality fantasy adventure all around. And the performance by the author is just top notch. It's quite impressive for someone to be so talented and author and also a story teller. the voice acting was very impressive and set of each character's unique personality quite brilliantly! 5 stars across the board.

Our favorite book series so far!!

We coupsnt listen to this fast enough, our long drives to school flew by and I never got tired because I was at the edge of my seat listening to this amazing story! The narrator is amazing, his character’s voices are great. We are shower excited to finish the saga!

One of the best novels I’ve read (and heard)!

Excellently written with noble themes, surprising plot twists, and hilarious anecdotes. My husband, 10 year old son, and I really enjoyed reading the whole Wingfeather Saga, so we decided to listen to this first book with our younger kids (ages 4-8) as well. We all loved it!

New top 5 series for me

I was searching for a new fun fantasy story to listen to at work when I stumbled upon this absolute gem of a series. Not only is there rich lore, but the storytelling is complex and mysterious. Even though these books had young readers in mind, they deal with very adult themes and I kept being pleasantly surprised by the strong moral themes throughout the story.

With dynamic and relatable characters, On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness will have you falling in love with the characters and eager to find out what happens to them all as the series goes on.
