Publisher's summary

"There's someone here who would like to meet you...."

For 14-year-old Nell Parrish, there's no such thing as a calm or ordinary life.

Believing she's finally found her place, her people, her purpose, on a cold winter day Nell's world is turned upside down all over again, this time at the hands of a mysterious and violent cult.

Ripped from her home and crammed into the back of a van, Nell is transported to a faraway place where the air freezes one's bones and the landscape is cursed and treacherous. There's someone waiting for her there, she's told.

Someone who's been searching for Nell for a very long time.

The Dread Void is certainly full of wonder

When I first started this series, I didn’t have a lot of hope for it. I’d gotten it for a song, and just hoped that it wouldn’t be as bad as some inexpensive audiobooks I have listened to. However, I was immediately drawn into the story, which included just enough paranormal to make it seem realistic, but not fanciful.

Now, it is 4 books in, and Mr. Moss just keeps improving the series. The narrator also adds a wonderful piece to the audiobooks, with a voice that just pulls you into the story.
