What a treat!

When we first met Tom and Bee in Merry Measure they were already an established couple; there were hints of how they met – the initial dislike and Bee’s resistance – but it was wonderful to go back in time and get the full funny, sweet, steamy and lovely experience of them.. What to say about this wonderful narrator that I haven’t already said? I think I am out of adjectives to gush over his performances!

New to me author but won't be my last!

I adored this book. it was heartwarming and funny! kept me wanting to keep listening. Joel Leslie is a favorite narrator of mine but this was my first Lily Morton book-and it won't be my last! This book was funny, low angst, and entertaining, all the while being well written. I can't wait to find more from this author!

Holiday romance

This holiday romance is interesting and humorous. The quintessential Professor is absentminded! I really enjoyed this narration.

Another winner by Lily

This is another winner by Lily Morton and especially with the added voice work from Joel Leslie. Second impressions sometimes make up for the failures in the first. And this is a story of how the first impression was definitely not favorable but getting to know someone opens up so many doors. Loved the story and especially after recently being in Edinburgh t was nice to hear about all the tourist spots, I got to visit and some I didn't. I will definitely listen to this one again!

Great performance! Very sweet audio book. Love the combo of hard pursuit and making him wait until the feelings are real.

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. I loved both Bee and Tom- who did not have a good first meeting. Having to see each other while on holiday in Scotland with their friends really brings them close and I enjoyed how their relationship developed. I also liked the supporting characters. Joel Leslie was brilliant bringing these characters to life. He's my favorite narrator and listening to him work his magic brings me such joy!

Tom & Bee

I loved that we got Tom and Bee's story. After meeting them in Merry Measure, it was nice to get their backstory and see where they started. The audiobook for this was just as good as the book. I loved the narration by Joel Leslie. He did a wonderful job as usual

Sweet story!

Lily Morton knows how to write romance. I loved the interaction between Bee and Tom. It was great even when it wasn't ;) I really enjoyed how their relationship evolved. And I loved how Bee grew through the story. Joel Leslie was made to narrate Lily's books. He was perfect!

Sweet & funny 😍

I love both, the author as well as the narrator, so this was a really great audiobook for me. It has lovable characters, sweet moments and funny situations, the full package 💝

Joel Leslie is amazing! I would listen to him read anything. The book, itself, is just so funny, and romantic. It's slightly slow burn. I think it was close to 70% before they kissed but oh my God! Their little "dates" leading up to that kiss were just delicious. Lily Morton really knows how to write a beautiful love story.
