He never believed in ghosts before, but when events take a sinister turn, he knows he must look for help. He finds it in the unlikely form of the blue-haired leader of a ghost tour.

Blue Billings is edgy, beautiful, and lost. Utterly lost. He conceals so many secrets that some days it’s a miracle he remembers his own name. He knows that he should ignore Levi because he threatens the tenuous grip Blue has on survival. But there’s something about the kind-eyed man that draws Blue to him. Something that demands he stay and fight for him when he would normally run in the opposite direction.

As the two men investigate the shocking truth behind Levi’s house, they also discover a deep connection that defies the short length of time they’ve known each other. But when events escalate and his life is on the line, Levi has to wonder if it was wise to trust the mysterious and amazing Blue Billings.

Liked the story loved the narrator

I actually did like the story, and even more so I really enjoyed the narrator and the way he captured the voices.

Another winner for Lily and Joel

This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was a very interesting and original mystery. I was able to guess who did it but it was still satisfying. Some very hot sexy times. Overall highly recommend it.

Loved this book

I loved this book from start to finish. Blue Billings in amazing and the mystery he and Levi solve is tight and well written. Can’t wait to listen to the fabulous Joel Leslie bringing both these characters to life.

Sweet story with lovely characters

I greatly enjoyed this book! It’s the right combination of sweet, snarky, scary, spicy that makes it a book I return to repeatedly. Joel Leslie’s narration is wonderful too!

Levi is adorable and snarky, Blue is spooky and quite cute with his hair and name.

Lovely story made better by an amazing narrator

it isn't just that Joel Leslie is the absolute best narrator/performer. This man has a gift. Switching between accents and voices for each character, he brings them alive and vibrant. He turns good books into gold.

I love a good ol' fashioned haunted house, and this story delivers. Well crafted and immersive. Plus, Joel's narrative is brilliant. gotta love Blue's Irish-American accent!

Scarily Good Haunted House Story

Audible Daily Deal that I bought awhile back because someone gave it a one star review because it wasn't 'family friendly'. Clutch your pearls but don't give a unfair bad review just because a book doesn't appeal to your puritanical beliefs.

Cover looks historical but it's actually modern day. One of the Main Characters does Ghosts Tours dressed in Victorian costume. Setting is York, England which I liked. It came to life.

Yes there is some romance but also serious aspect of what it's like to be homeless. And a scarily good Haunted House story. Started listening on recent roadtrip when I reached my destination I switched to Kindle Unlimited because I wanted to know what happens. Then went back and listened to last couple of chapters and Epilogue because I enjoyed the Narrator.

one of the best trilogy’s ever.

This may be one of the best trilogies ever from Lily Morton and Joel Leslie. It was very different from the other recent series, because it had mystery and ghosts nonstop. I was really kept on my feet with excitement.

Of course it was a great gay romance story, with good sex, but this one was spell binding. Especially since I rarely listen to books about the supernatural.

I read a review by someone else said it would really helpful if Audible could include the name of the series and which book number it is. I purchased two first, and started listening, when I realize there was a book one and so I stopped book 2 and found book one. I do all my purchasing with the Audible via my phone.
